Creative Works in Television and Theatre
Although television and theatre may seem to be two different mediums they were once closely aligned through live plays and dramas recorded and produced for television. At Keeve Productions we enjoy both mediums and see them as vehicles for potent storytelling. Whether it is a Live Performance of Back to the Heart which became a film or adapting Edgar Rice Burroughs seminal pulp novel The Girl from Hollywood as a 6-part LImited Series for television, both television and theatre at their best can be powerful vehicles for story telling. Upcoming: We are in talks to produce a new rendition of Tennessee Williams “Sweet Bird of Youth.” Many of these themes written about back in the 50s, are just as timely and potent as today. Whether it’s a groundbreaking production of a Greek classic like “The Trojan Women” or a more modern-themed Tony award-winning play like Love! Valour! Compassion!, classical text and great storytelling never go out of style and illuminate the human condition.
